We at Global Air Compass, and as per our latest information, we have been working remotely since March 16th, with great success.
I am extremely proud of our team, who keep a high level of services continuously, and are responding to this crisis with a positive attitude and unity.

We wish to update you on our office and warehouse working procedures related to Covid-19 worldwide impact. Global Air Compass continues to have regular working hours these days; we operate with the full priority of the safety of our employees and customers; all our hub locations operate under the same policy. We wish to update you on our office and warehouse working procedures related to Covid-19 worldwide impact. Global Air Compass continues to have regular working hours these days; we operate with the full priority of the safety of our employees and customers; all our hub locations operate under the same policy. WAREHOUSING
All warehouses operate in the regular working hours, having a different structure of shifts. Extra measures are taken regarding drivers who arrive to load or unload.AIRFREIGHT
Due to governmental decisions, many countries are closing their airports, and the capacity is limited.Many carriers have suspended flights to specific destinations, and all air carriers have canceled their contractual pricelist; at this moment, offering rates are provided only on the spot.ROAD FREIGHT
Many countries are closing their borders, making transport within the EU a challenge. Due to intensive border controls, the transit time is longer, and the availability in vehicles and drivers is limited.CUSTOMS FORMALITIES
Custom offices operate with safety personnel; this creates delays that we accommodate locally.OCEAN FREIGHT
There is a severe shortage of equipment from the shipping lines, and they are introducing an imbalance surcharge on all cargo from North West Continent ports.This surcharge is applicable for 20’ and 40’ from the beginning of April 2020, until further notice
Despite this unprecedented situation, we find solutions for the vast majority of the shipments of our customers. Our team is always at your disposal, to find the optimum solution to your request.

As a result, precautionary measures are taken by governments to prevent further spread. In Global Air Compass Marine Logistics, we believe that healthy mind equals a healthy body, thus it is priority to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers. For these situations, we apply protocols and preventive measures in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the official bodies in the Netherlands and Belgium. Our aim is to continue to serve our customers and partners as usual and to ensure that the activities for your organisation can be continued optimally.
